This business is a scam. Do yourself a favor and keep your cash and sanity. I bought an airline ticket and shelled out more for a refundable option, but now they’re denying me a refund for my ticket. SCAM! I really wish I could give them zero stars. Honestly, I don’t even want to give them one!

I received an eTicket from Lookupfare, but they didn’t bother to notify the airline. When I discovered this just a day before my flight, it took them 14 hours to sort it out, and then they had the nerve to ask me for an additional $100 for the flights. At that point, I had to either cough up more cash or risk them canceling everything. Their service is terrible, and they showed no regret. I’d recommend checking out Hotwire or Travelocity instead. If you think you’re saving a buck with these guys, you might end up paying even more, assuming they can fix the mess they create.

Today, I felt threatened by Marselius after I posted my review. We booked a round trip from Seattle to Istanbul on March 6th, with a departure on March 16 and a return on March 26. Then, we got a text from Lufthansa saying one segment of our return flight from Munich to Chicago was canceled due to a strike. I immediately called lookupfare.com, but the customer service rep insisted our flight was confirmed and told me not to worry. I pointed out that Lufthansa's website showed the cancellation, but she just repeated not to worry. The next day, I got another message from Sunexpress saying our Istanbul to Munich flight was also canceled due to the strike. I called lookupfare again, and once more, they denied any cancellations. On March 25, they finally admitted our flight was canceled but reassured me they were looking for an alternative. After a long wait, they said nothing was available for March 26, but not to worry, they would find something. They then offered me flights with Air Lingus and Emirates, which were over $1800 for a one-way return on March 28. While I was on the phone, I found tickets on Turkish Airlines for $1364 for two on March 26, but he told me those were standby tickets and not confirmed. While I was still on the line, those tickets sold out. In the end, I had to spend an extra two days in Istanbul, paying for hotel and food, and I missed two days of work. The solution they offered was a refund of only $600 to $800 total. This company is terrible; if there were no stars available, I would give them zero. Today, I received a call from lookupfare, and Marselius threatened me, saying if I didn’t change my honest review, they would block my refund from United Airlines.

Like many folks, I checked out the reviews for this site before diving in. Working in the hotel biz, I’m pretty much all about the travel scene. So, I’m super cautious when it comes to making any bookings. When I stumbled upon a deal that was $500 less than what Virgin Atlantic had on their site, I was a bit doubtful. But I went for it and, let me tell you, it’s the real deal. I’ve confirmed my reservation with the airline and saved that $500. From now on, I’m only booking through lookupfare.com. I know I’m getting a fantastic deal that can’t be matched. If you’re skeptical, check out the screenshots of the prices I’ve attached below.

I was pretty anxious about reserving through this website, but my agent Dominick really put me at ease. From the initial booking to ensuring my luggage was sorted, he even called me back to confirm everything was set. He was fantastic! The flights I found were listed at $1200 on airline websites, but he snagged me an amazing deal for half that price! Huge thanks! I’ll definitely use this site again down the line!

I'm currently in the process of booking my flight, and surprise, surprise, the price they advertised is totally bogus. There's no 24-hour cancellation policy, and forget about getting any credit for those baggage fees.

I faced major scheduling problems because this service kept changing my travel times. To make matters worse, when we were heading home, THERE WAS NO FLIGHT BOOKED FOR US! This company is a total joke! I had to shell out for a whole new ticket to get back because they didn’t confirm our flight with the airlines, even though my app showed we had a reservation and were confirmed with a big airline! The payment they tried to make with their company card DID NOT GO THROUGH! So, despite paying them for the ticket, it wasn’t settled between the booking service and the airline. I ended up losing over $700 getting myself and my travel buddy new tickets. I spent nearly two hours on the phone with a supervisor, passing the call back and forth to the ticket agent at the airport. It was a real hassle!

We're stuck in Cuzco, Peru, because of the riots and protests. Can't make it to our connecting flight home. Thankfully, Caren came to the rescue—she was super calming and really helpful. Her customer service was top-notch. We're feeling the stress, but we believe this will all sort itself out.

Listen up... unless you're cool with unexpected and unannounced changes to your travel plans, plus extra fees, steer clear of LookupFare for good. They messed with our group's travel by altering our plans without a heads-up and then slapped on extra costs, claiming the flight rates had gone up. Their customer support is just as terrible as what others have said. I really don't get how they keep running. All I can do is give a heads-up to others so they can dodge the travel disaster my crew had to go through.

Watch out for these folks. They make empty promises, don’t return calls, and provide wrong info. Totally unprofessional. They messed up my flight booking, and when I tried to cancel, they just kept giving me the runaround. It wasn’t until I raised my voice that they finally canceled it, but I’m still waiting for an email to confirm everything. Just steer clear!

Avoid Lookbyfare like the plague. This travel agency is downright shady, and you can't put your faith in them. I bought a ticket for a trip to Nigeria, and everything seemed fine at first. My flight was all set for December 17, 2022, coming back on January 7, 2023. But then, just an hour after they confirmed it, they called me up saying the date on my ticket was wrong and wanted me to switch it to December 18. I went along with it, and they sent over a form to sign, assuring me my flight was good to go. The ticket cost me $2641.

Then, five days later, they rang me again, saying my confirmed flight was no longer available and that I had to fork out for a new ticket on a different day, this time for $3860. At first, they tried to spin a tale about Delta canceling flights to Nigeria and suggested I buy a ticket from Ethiopian Airlines for that steep price.

This is just plain wrong, unethical, and totally fraudulent. The agents are rude, dishonest, and just plain cheats.

I had an awful time with this company, and their customer support is just as bad. They claim they'll keep you on hold for a couple of minutes, but it ends up being 30! It's clear they have no clue what they're doing. When you call, you can hear folks in the background laughing and chatting in their own language. They always give you phony names. You can easily tell where they're from by their accents. Seriously, don't put your trust in them.

Seriously, steer clear of this company. It's a total scam. They make a reservation for your flight but never confirm or send you a ticket. They keep your booking hostage to make you haggle over the price. They claim the airline is to blame, but they’re just the middleman. They hold onto your booking until it’s too late for you to find a better deal. I travel internationally about 3 to 4 times a year, and this is the first time I've encountered such a shady operation.

I was kinda worried about whether my flights were set after getting the cvv verification email. I totally overlooked it the night before, and my flight was the next morning. Fernando from customer service went above and beyond to make sure my flight could still be confirmed for the same date. The call even dropped, but he rang me back with the same flight details, and there were no extra fees! Big thanks to you, Fernando!!!

However, I booked a trip for two on Lookupfare and got a confirmation from the airlines in less than a day. I ended up saving more than $600! I didn’t get my seat assignments and when I called the airlines, I was stuck on hold for over two hours. So, I reached out to Lookupfare’s customer service and they picked up right away! My seats were assigned in no time. I’ll surely be using this site again for my next travel plans.
